The Science-Backed Way for Women to Melt Away Stiffness and Feel Great Again.
If you are experiencing feelings of menopause you might have noticed that your body doesn't "bounce back" like it used to. Maybe you wake up feeling like your joints are made of rusted metal, or perhaps the exhaustion of hormonal shifts has left you feeling disconnected and "done in."
I hear you, because I am you.
I’m Stef and at over 5o, I am navigating my menopause journey too. My path wasn't or isn't easy—it included a breakdown in health, a struggle with Hyperthyroidism, and a body that literally broke out in hives from stress.
But I found my way back through Yoga, breathwork exercises and Stretching, eventually traveling to Bali in 2024 to become a Certified Yoga Alliance Teacher. Today, I combine that training with deep research into how our bodies actually change during this second spring of life.
Menopause isn't just about hot flashes; it’s a total remodelling of your musculoskeletal system.
The "Sticky" Fascia Factor: Fascia is the connective tissue that wraps around your muscles and joints. As Estrogen levels drop, this tissue can become dehydrated and "sticky." This is why you feel stiff in the morning or after sitting for a short time.
Muscle & Joint Shifts: Our muscles lose mass and our joints lose lubrication as we age. Standard "gym workouts" can often feel too harsh, but doing nothing makes the stiffness worse.
The Nervous System: Menopause puts the body in a state of high alert. If you don't "down-regulate" your nervous system, your muscles stay tight, protecting you from perceived stress.
Did You Know? Research shows that targeted stretching and yoga can reduce the severity of menopause symptoms by lowering cortisol levels and improving "fascial glide"—helping you move without that "creaky" sensation. This is music to my ears!
I offer functional movement for the menopausal body.
Fascial Release Stretching: We target the deep connective tissue to "unstick" your range of motion.
Joint-Friendly Yoga: Gentle, restorative flows that build strength without putting 180°C of heat or high-impact stress on your knees and hips.
Gentle Mobility Support: If you feel you’ve lost your flexibility, we start exactly where you are. No judgment, just progress.
A Safe Space in the Bexley & Greenwich boroughs: A community of women who understand exactly what you’re going through.
